EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to supplement our students’ academic education. These activities take place from 3:45 to 4:45pm in Reception to Year 7 year groups, from 5 to 7pm for students from Reception to Year 13, and on Saturday mornings for sports competitions.

The activities currently on offer at Newton College school are divided into two areas: sports and arts, with a total of 34 activities, 14 of which are sporting and the other 20 are artistic.

Sports activities: football, basketball, athletics, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, fencing, tennis, paddle, roller-skating, handball, volleyball, mixed sports, chess, table tennis.

Artistic activities are divided into music (choir, singing academy, piano and guitar), plastic and manual arts (painting, crafts, needlework), bodily expression (urban dance, ballet, yoga), languages (German, Chinese, Russian, French, Spanish, Valencian, development of English expression and communication skills), creative (radio-journalism, robotics, Cook & Play).

LAUDE NEWTON COLLEGE SPORTS CLUB

Our school competes in several municipal and provincial sports championships. This year, there is an under-10 and another junior indoor football team, another 8-a-side football team, 2 of whom are under-10s, as well as a senior basketball team that plays in a local league (parents, teachers and former students).

There is also a mothers’ basketball team that trains and takes part in several events.
